Hospira Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, multiple-dose diluent containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) benzyl alcohol added as a bacteriostatic preservative. The preservative inhibits microbial growth, allowing repeated sterile withdrawals from a single sealed vial when aseptic technique is followed. Supplied in a 30 mL multiple-dose vial.
